Calling the chipset block a duck block was a bad idea. I like it, as long as it cools the chips it was designed to cool and the way you made it, reminds me of the Z78 block, a true performer. I know everyone says the chipsets are not as important as they once were but due to the failure with the $599.00 Classified X79 board and after I bought a water block set up for it and I got nowhere with it. I went to an ASUS board, I know this is a dirty word in this forum but it was pretty much the same board but built better and with the water cooling I was able to hit 5.2 with their cool offset setting of 1.396. my cores always stayed cool during benching never going above 62c.
That cool block you made me with fan was the bomb for my Z78/P67 board.
