I can pretty much guarantee I'd buy both of your Dark blocks if the prices aren't absurd (haven't gotten that far yet). I would absolutely love it if you could do some engraving on the blocks, that would push me over the edge for sure!

Also I'll be using a different CPU block - the Koolance CPU380i. I don't have any of my parts yet but they should be arriving sometime soon. I hope the new SB block (if it comes to fruition) will fit with that CPU block. Considering nobody seems to be having problems with the EK block on the SB for the RIVE I think we should be okay as well. *fingers crossed*

Nate,
I have the Apogee Drive II and it has a pump on the top of the CPU cooler. IT is the HD with a pump the nozzel connections are on the memory sides but I do  not think it will be an issue. If it is I will just get a new block. I Like the chipset block and I am really glad you decided to go with it. As for putting X79 Dark in red, I think it looks killer on my board, would it be an issue with the EVGA Bubbas to put EVGA by Natman_Doo on the chipset block in red same font at least for mine so it can be seen between the two 16X slots? My board hangs in my case the old fasioned way so the way you have it, through my case window it isn't upside down like the stupid back plates on the video cards.
Your CNC machine has really turned out to be one sweet setup. I looked at your photo bucket build. I will start like you said and try using the drill press with my milling bits. When I start working on the Mauser 98 I may ask for some advice.

This looks great!  I would love to put a deposit down and get in on the waterblock action.  Like a previous poster, I don't have enough posts to PM you yet, so ill tackle that then send you a pm.

I just found out about the Asus Rampage IV Black-Edition (retail edition, different from the limited edition in April) which throws a wrench in my previous plan. I might just have to wait for that motherboard.... not sure....

Its up to you, if you decide to go with the dark, I can make you a block for it anytime.

Nateman, count me in for both, I have a HeatKiller CPU block so hopefully it will fit with that one. I don't see why It wouldn't though.

Nate, why don't you make the Delrin top for the block over sized similar to the shape
of the stock heat sink and have the duck shaped block underneath?
EK have done this with a few of their blocks.
That way it would look a hell of a lot better and it means you could engrave the EVGA 'E'
on the top of it similar to the stock heat sink. That would be awesome.
I'm interested in a block but not really keen on the Duck shape.
I'd be happy to pay more just for aesthetic reasons.

I will also be using the Koolance 380i Block....I really want that look of the mock-up from IAMSNEAKY Engraved with The Red resin Fill.
Seems Like most want the same thing with the exception of the nickel-plate crew...But getting this block to canada australia and back seems extremely excessive.....as far as the chip block goes the big question will be can we use the 1/2" I.D. 5/8" O.D. compression fittings on there without hitting anything? I Think Red O-Rings might look sharp.

Remember nateman_doo isn't a business, so his weekends are his own. :D

Still not quite sold on the SB block, Not sure it's required and the extra tubing will make it more difficult to make it look 'clean'.
