The very very simple answer is:

You read the Model number off the box, then choose the ONLY bios update for that model number Read the fiirst post.

Is there a way to revert back to the default BIOS? Believe it or not, this one made me more unstable. This is the last time I'm doing a firmware update to a GPU in hoping to get better OC because it clearly wasn't a good idea.

Is it dangerous to revert back? Also, hope do I proceed...? I know that I saved my default bios with GPU-Z called GK104.rom.

EDIT: Nvm I figured it out myself. Glad I could go back to default BIOS. Temps are higher but so is the stability.

The firmware you have is the last one for 670 SC 2Gb
This new update "v80.04.5C" does not include the 670 SC 2Gb

Hi
Any advice would be very much appreciated
Was just wondering if its worth updating my gpu bios
I am running on a 1156 mb and i am now getting slight stuttering within a few games and is very annoying...
The card i had in before a 570 was running fine np in any game but now since my gfx upgrade i am getting slight stuttering.i have also noticed the power monitor graph in evga precision is fluctuating up and down a lot.

Part Number: 02G-P4-3677-KR
Part Desc: EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW SIG2
bios 80.04.4B.00.70

I have since defaulted my cpu back to stock
uninstalled nvidia drivers ect ect
placed 570 back in to check and all was fine back to 670 and problem arised again

No. I have the same card and with the new bios,  max fan speed is still 80%. Although at 80%, I can't get the card to go over 60c, so not sure why more would ever be needed.

Well i would like to experiment to put my Accelero twin turbo 2 fans to 100% to see the diference in temps, as for now at 80% fan speed they are very very quiet and i´m gething very nice temps:
Ambient 20ºC
Idle 25ºC at 30% fan speed
Load 53ºC at 80%fan speed

JacobF, is there any possibility to add 100% fan speed to the bios firmware?

I just got the pause/stutter since i updated firmware. i also did drivers but went back to the old driver and problem was still there. I did not notice this issue before the bios update. Bo II zombies is the game i am playin.
ive done a bios update before and had no issues. could this latest bios have caused a issue? if so where can I get the old bios from? I believe i was used 4b.70, my card is the 670 2gb ftw 2678-kr
