Updated all 3 to this bios...I can now overclock HIGHER and stable in Bf3 than previously. Lower clocks used to get me an inevitable pc lockup. I don't know what this bios update did, but it did a lot of good for me!

So the superclocked GTX 670 2GB versions don't need an update then?

That's great.  Since I didn't get more than a few responses to my last post here, I decided to just go ahead and update mine.  I was hoping for something like you described, but no luck.  Honestly, I see no difference in anything in comparison to the last update (4c).  I tried running Valley & Heaven benchmarks.  Both ran as stable as before with my max OC's and when I tried OC'ing to the next 13mhz increment on the core, it crashed just as with version 4c.  Then I played Crysis3 awhile to see if I would see any differences in how the game played or in FPS, but no difference.  Oh well...

I'm running the newest drivers (314.22), which are you using? I know all systems are different, but I'm eliminating a lot of non-essential background programs this weekend too, so maybe that has something to do with my jump in performance also?

I tried the latest whql driver when 1st released, but I actually lost a little performance in Crysis3 which is the game I've been playing the most recently.  So I went back to beta driver 314.14 which I found to be the best so far.  As far as non-essential's running in the background, yes, if you had a lot of that going on and now you don't, that really could help you out as far a performance increase and a more stable & higher OC on your cards.  I always do run bare bones background apps so could be why I see no difference.  Thanks for your comments...

What is the proper update procedure for those of us with UEFI bios? Can we do this update? Will it cause any issues with the UEFI vBIOS we are running?

So how do you know if you need this update and what is in the compatibility list. And what stability did they improve

If you're not having any issue's, then you don't need it.  Or you can update it if you want.  It's up to you.  I saved my last 2 versions so I can always go back.

I have a problem with my monitor going to sleep so was asking what the fixes were for. But they should have a list of the fixes and improvments.
