Hi all
I made the update v80.04.31 02 (02G-P4-2672-KR - EVGA GTX 670 SC)  but now I have many artefacts. How can I revert to the original bios?

Best Regards

Use the original bios you saved when you flashed them to the newer ones. But here is hoping you saved your bios.Generally a bad flash and the card wont even post to desktop .What your saying sounds more like a
A.Bad driver install (EVGA forums has a nice detailed guide here
B. a bad flash ,redo and test again
C. Contact Customer support threw the methods that suit you best here ,i suggest Phone over email or tickets as its much faster to troubleshoot ,and RMA if needed .

I got two 02G-P4-2672-KR flashed to v80.04.31 and no problem so far. First of all try to uninstall / reinstall the drivers.

EVGA GeForce GTX 670 Firmware Update v80.04.4B - Updated 10/16/12

Q. What are the changes in this new firmware?
  • Updated in 80.04.4B - Updated compatibility
  • Improved stability
  • Improved compatibility with DELL XPS 8300 systems

Q. Do I need to reapply this update every time I update a driver or reinstall the O.S.?
A. This update is attached to the card, no matter where it goes. If you update the driver, the EVGA firmware update is still applied.

Q. How can I tell what version I firmware I currently have?
A. There are multiple ways to do this, one way is to right click on desktop and go to NVIDIA control panel. Click on Help, then System Information. Scroll to the bottom of the Details window and it will show your "Video BIOS version". It will be listed as EXAMPLE: 80.04.31.00.72. The numbers in bold identify the version number.

Q. I just bought my card, will it have this updated firmware?
A. Chances are yes, as new firmware is release, new products shipping from EVGA will also have this firmware version applied.

Installation
  • Download the correct .zip file below for your graphics card below.
  • Extract the files to a location on disk.
  • Make sure no programs are running in the background, and double click update.exe.
  • Press "Y", then ENTER to begin the update.
  • DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE UPDATE PROCESS!
  • After update, restart PC.

Do I need this update on my FTW 2Gb 80.04.19.00.70 card?  I haven't had any issues with it an the only game I play on it is Unreal Tournament III, DM/Greed/Duel/etc.

Thanks.

EDIT: and I usually like turning off my power when updating things.  is it ok to do that!?!?! lol :D  j/k

If you're having no issue's, then there is no reason to update unless you want to.

So I just flashed my FTW but I have a question. Before the flash my card was using FW version 80.04.5C.00.70. This version is 80.04.4B.00.70, so have I just flashed an older version of firmware to my card?

The 4B.00.70 is the latest I do believe.  You're good...
