Thanks for the BIOS EVGA. I will update my FTW with it to insure stability.

Note :- This BIOS can cause RSODs with GPU-Z 0.6.5 .

Yikes!!! another Bios flash and the 670GTX FTW's have only been out 3 months.....that's scary! The 306.97 driver was a piece of garbage as well. I'm on the fence about updating anything now.

For all the skeptics out there, you could always save the old firmware updates and if you want to test the newest one out, you can.  If you don't like it, just flash back.  Personally, I make it a habit of always saving the last good update I used just in case I want to go back for any reason.

This update is okay. No real difference in benchmarks for me.

The model number on my card is slightly different than those show for download.  I have the:

04G-P4-3673-KR

When I try to update it just says no compatible card found to update.  I'm on BIOS 80.04.31

I am having problems with this card and the ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS board so was hoping this would solve it.

It's because your card isn't listed for firmware update. Don't ask me what that means for the cards that are listed...

Still don't understand why this file is twice as large as previous ones..

interesting, another update? will give it a shot soon, thanks Jacob.

does it ultimately solve the RSOD issue under vantage (when card is OC'ed and otherwise stable)?

Not to get to far off topic, but I am having issues. Nothing that this firmware will seemingly fix, which is throttling for no apparent reason @ 68c, +90 core, 122% power target, and default volts... However, I find it rather annoying that were moving forwards with new firmware releases and they're not thoroughly tested. There's a certain excitement from seeing performance gains and improvements from driver / firmware releases. When there's 6 pages post with 80% of the people experiencing loss of performance and random issues without any response or interaction from EVGA it makes question the company.

There was a new version posted 2 days ago...

Because it adds support for Hynix memory boards, also has some of the backbone for EFI support, but EFI is not enabled right now because of compatibility issues with some motherboards.

Not particularly, but the new version improves compatibility with some newer cards, so I would recommend trying it perhaps.
