I'll feel more comfortable trying this if I can get a straight recommendation..

@Jacob, do you recommend that we update our firmware on our 670 cards, even if we haven't experienced problems of any kind yet?

If it's not broken, don't fix it. If you have a problem in the future, update the firmware.

Am I advised to update my firmware on 2 670s in SLI, with no over clocking?

These cards run great out of the box and I have not had the need to update anything.

I flashed both my 670 FTW 2GB cards.  This is the 3rd firmware revision now on my cards.  The one that shipped on them and 2 more since.  I haven't noticed any difference in any of them.  The cards ran great when I got them, and still run great with any update I've flashed on them.  This latest update I haven't tried any benching yet, but did play a couple hours of Crysis2 with no issue's.  Didn't notice any differences between the updates to the firmware so far.

Like any bios revision or firmware update, it's up to you if you want it or not.  If you're not having any issue's, then don't update if you don't want to.  Always up to you...

Huffy puffy LOLOLOLOL .... If EVGA is stating there's stability improvements and peoples cards are breaking and under preforming there's obviously some sort of major issue... Did even read all the errors and issues people are posting about... $400-$500 for a GPU and a bunch iffy drivers and firmware updates I think **** needs to get handled... I work hard for my money and when I buy the best I expect the best ...

If you aren't having issues you don't need to upgrade. If you have an issue with the newest firmware we can always send you a previous version.

Not to get to far off topic, but I am having issues. Nothing that this firmware will seemingly fix, which is throttling for no apparent reason @ 68c, +90 core, 122% power target, and default volts... However, I find it rather annoying that were moving forwards with new firmware releases and they're not thoroughly tested. There's a certain excitement from seeing performance gains and improvements from driver / firmware releases. When there's 6 pages post with 80% of the people experiencing loss of performance and random issues without any response or interaction from EVGA it makes question the company.
