3mm, 6mm, 10mm or 13mm?

i cannot get the pins out of my atx 4/8 pin board power connector for anything on my corsair individually sleeved cables, it has 2 4 pins on  it and I want to remove once since I'm only using 1.  I have a tool i bought online for it from performance-pcs.com   AGGRIVATING!  hulk smash

Dont get the lamptron kit, its not needed and the molex atx extractor has allot of people saying it doesnt work very well. I would purchase the original molex extractor or our LC Custom Extracor and then I would get a round molex extractor and finnally a exacto knife - those are the best tools for the job you will thanks me if you get them.

Solder is not needed and can make it harder to put it into the connector - however I know some who have done it but I dont think it adds anything, if you get a good crimper (MDPC or Lutro0 Customs Crimper) they will hold nicely

Wow, great guide and the comments are very helpful as well.  I'd never considered doing this but now I'd like to take a stab at it.

Very well written and great to follow with pics but I may still fork out the $40 to pick up some corsair sleeved cables still. Perhaps when time allows I'll put in the effort and reference this though!
