You need an online host like dropbox to host your file.

I was wondering if it is possible to decompile the old .usf files using the old software and just re-mapping it to the new format? Is this possible? I know it would take time but I'm willing to help out on the discovery/mapping if that's the case. Was there a similar ux skin type tool for the older versions, say px 14? I'm new EVGA card holder and new to px 16

It would take a bit of work to get it to work. The old version used a header file that I'm not even sure where you would enter the info in the new skin tool.

--------------------------------------------
EVGA Precision X 16 = version 5.x.x
--------------------------------------------

Simple enough seeing as how we are currently on 5.3.9 'Precision X 16',
but I'm a little confused as to the 'naming to version' scheme of previous versions..

Which if any of this next listed is correct?

EVGA Precision X 15 = version 4.x.x ???
EVGA Precision X 14 = version 4.x.x ???
EVGA Precision X 13 = version 3.x.x ???

This header file... could it be the information that you have to pick from in the new px 16 skin tool? like the header file had it in .cfg-style format (i dont know what you call it im just making an analogy with editing cfg files in notepad) and the now drop down menus from the skin tool? see pic for reference

EDIT: So I've actually decompiled an old .usf skin and am taking a look at the header file.. It was exactly as I expected it to be and now am going through the properties and values that you can set in the new skin tool to see if they are similar. I am also going to see if I can somehow 'pop out' a header file by using Precision X 4.x.x tactics, I.E. command line commands. I know it is a long shot, but the information has to be stored somewhere right? I guess it's possible to only store the information inside the compiled skin file but that would mean one of two things. That every skin was started from the default skin (which is more than within reason) or that the skin creator tool has the default settings (the settings that would normally exist in the header file) already set when you go to create a skin.

EDIT: Sadly I just now realized that there is no 'new' option on the skin tool I completely forgot that there is only options to import and export which makes me now believe that all skins were created from the original. If this were back in 4.x.x days I would not have a problem thinking one would be created from scratch given that there are master crafting guides available ( here at EVGA forums and over at Guru3d.com), but will not make a final decision as to if there is a hidden header file or not (or if one can still be extracted from .uxf in v. 5.x.x) until I am told by a Jedi Master EVGA team member, an Jedi Master Senior Overclocker Guru or Yoda himself. As for now, I'll keep on searching as I would love to bring the masterful creations of our skin modders' work into the new version for everyone to enjoy.

Hey Vldmtr, Thank you

Hey Vlad, would you mind if we built off your skin, customizing it a little here and there? In other words, what's the password my bro!? I tried the default and nothing a no luck so I figured you protected it?

Time to get back into creating some new skins.  I decided to start with a Fallout 4 themed skin to get the ball rolling again.  Here is a picture of the in-progress shot.  Let me know what you think.  Thanks.
