Alright, I'll try a few out.

Current long task has been running for 21Mins and is at 9% completion.
Gpu usage is only at about 63%.

My first GPUGrid badge with my recently bought 780 Ti,
 0.5Mil
Getting about 7700 Sec on Short tasks @ 1188MHz, not too bad. The gpu usage is only at 78% though, is that normal?

Two of my 7950's died so I decided it was time to upgrade finally.

Grats on your GPUGrid badge
Your 78% seems ok. I just checked out one of mine, and it showed sub 70% at default.
I have one recommendation though. With a 780Ti, you would credit wise, benefit greatly by switch to Longruns only.
A 780Ti at default settings will typically need a tad over 4 hours to crunch a long run, and it will credit 75.000 points.
In 24 hours, you might do 5-6 of them, meaning over 400K. They may vary some, but the longrun's do pay more.
You can narrow your wu's to long runs only in your GPUGrid preferences page.
As you can see of the screenie from the performance page over at GPUGrid, the 980 dominates, but the 780Ti's are breathing heavy up the 980 neck's.
Don't be shy to enter this ranking too

Orange is right on - the 980s are king, but you will see a number of 970s and moreover the 780TIs way up the list on fastest times. I have seen Khali among others make the top performers list. A goal to shoot for! I have run GPUGRID quite a bit and OCd my cards, only to get errors so be careful. The other feature on GPUGRID is the 20 top times for each work unit so you can see how you compare.
Best of luck with it!

Hmm, oddly after a while my gpu downclocked to 528MHz and got stuck there until I restarted my rig.
I can't see what the cause was, all the settings look good. But I'm just going to guess it was the drivers since I haven't reinstalled them since flashing the bios on my gpu, I'll get around to doing that a bit later to see if that resolves the problem.

Edit: I just checked the Stderr output log and it said there was a cuda driver error, so it's either oc'ed too high or it's a driver problem like I thought.
Well anyway, the task finished in 4.8Hrs.

I'll definitely be shooting for the top performers list once I get this downclocking bug fixed.

Edit 2: Oh and I got this shiny emerald badge from WCG,

I fixed the issue, it was just clocked too high. I dropped it down to a safe 1098MHz @ 1.212v and it finished a long wu in 3.91Hrs, pretty nice!
Temps peaked at 67c with the fans set to 50% (somewhat audible), man this windforce cooler is awesome.

I will also do a clean install of the drivers to see if that will help get it stable at an even higher clock.

Unfortunately I had to switch back to short tasks because the Gerard long tasks would cause my rig to act up weirdly, Ethernet would disconnect and windows explorer would slowly get less responsive until it was unusable. Noelia long tasks worked fine though.

And I got this one too,

That's a bummer because you get the most done with the long tasks. I had to run my 780 SC and 780 FTW at stock speeds to avoid errors but I never had the issues you are talking about.
On the other hand my 980 SC ran like a top with a slight overclock. Just got a 970 FTW and I am folding with a stout OC, and low temps. Looking forward to GPUGRID once I break 200mil.
Wish I could help you figure it out. I am running win7 pro 64 on both PCs.
