The reason is I play lots of retro games on them old P3's, as the only real game I do online is Descent 1 & 2 with Descent Task Force & Descent Rangers and nothing else, when it comes to serious online gaming, for the rest I do play new-gen Single player games a lot, Crysis series was lots of fun, so was Just Cause2 which I still enjoy doing , thereby using it to make self made HD remixes with Trance from Armin van Buuren for example, for these workloads I use the Dual 6 Core Opteron aka Blue-Leader the most.
Some of these builds left me lots of memories from the 34 year old Computer club I used to go to, so to keep that dream alive I kind of rebuilt my own network here at home and named it after the 34 year old computerclub I used to go to which is named CLUBNET.
More about those glory days go here:
http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1217265 And I like to renovate and rebuild good builds I had in the past, there by I collect Dual CPU systems mainly Dual Opterons, my interests just lay deep with such elusive setups.
And I am working on a new one now, Project G34 which will be named Valkyrie SMP 2013.
So here his new layout

2x 10 CM Blue CCFL's from Revoltec The CPU's I will pay tomorrow via a good friend of mine from 2CPU.com, which are the two 8 Core Opteron 6140's for just 100 USD for the two, a friendly offer from an old friend, these are new from old stock, thus new and never used and are in perfect new state, normal price per CPU is about 325 Euro's in my country about 400 USD.. so if I can get a pair for 100USD, it's a good move right ;)
16 Cores @ 2.6Ghz for just 100USD, you can't even get a good quad core Intel i5 for that price :P
Thanks to 2CPU.com I have built up many contacts there since I joined that place on May 08, 2001, so all them Dual Xeon setups I seen here are just out of my budget, but this Dual Opteron 6140 is my perfect opportunity and solution.
The people that know me at 2CPU.com know of my disability and other backgrounds and they will do anything to help me acquire the parts I need for a new build if that ever comes to mind, such as the Dual 6140 for example. Which I have named Valkyrie SMP 2013, I used the Valkyrie name for this long going build since Q2 2011. The name was my idea and it really fits the system very well.
But yeah why so many systems? I'm like why not? I don't have much other interests alongside this to which I find worth spending money in to, so yer everyone has their likes and dislikes and this is one of my likes
It began with Gradinko and since that day I never went Single CPU again, Building Dual CPU setups is just one of my favored hobbies, It keeps my busy at all times.
