Cheers for the heads up Gold leader - i've been building dual CPU systems now for 10 years and also know a bit about them and was one of the testers to get SLI working on 9 different Supermicro boards back in 2009.
I've built a few Supermicro sytems but the green PCB just doesn't cut it for me
.......plus i only forum hop and general web browsing so no need for it all really other looks
A Supermicro Mod i did a few years back...
Hey that is the Supermicro X8DA3 Dual LGA 1366 sockets and native CFX support
Well the green PCB isn't my worry Supermicro is by far the best you can get when it comes to Multi CPU motherboards utmost reliable under any condition what so ever, shame that TYAN gave many problems, it's also a shame iWiLL went under in 2004 I always liked their boards.
I have been doing 2CPU builds since January 28 year 2000 , also since May 08 2001 I have been a member @
http://www.2cpu.com and I have learned a lot from the people there :)
Supermicro is the best even they say it nothing touches the quality , stability and reliability of a Supermicro motherboard, but yes you do pay the price for them, I am happy with my Supermicro H8DAE-2 bought it when it in Q2 of 2009 and it has been doing great ever since :) Even that my new build will be a Core i7 I still have a feeling I it will bore me, once you have 2CPU blood in your vanes well ya probably know what I mean right, the urge for MOAR shall always be with you.
As CPU's of choice go I'll always heart the Opteron class CPU's, price performance, performance per watt and amount of cores per CPU, they are still the best to get in 2CPU & 4CPU setups.
Always more CPU rendering power than all 1CPU builds out there, with much healthier CPU temps, which result much more stable run times, making it possible for a greater crash free run time in any type of work load, but not as expensive as them Dual Intel Xeon setups, for me this is the main reason why I went Dual Opteron since 2004 :) But hay every setup has their ups and downs I am sure hehe.
If the X79 setup will bore me I'll go Dual G34 again start where I left off. I have to admit you have some beautiful build there mate really nice, I like your style

Here's a nice mug I gotta show ya, us 2CPU people understand the saying xD
Here the priceless slogan us 2CPU.com'ers all adore xD
Here the mug compared with a normal tea mug and a normal coffee cup rofl:
As my other three Duallies I'd have to make new pics of them heh so many changes have taken place
Shame we can't have two MOS RIGS pages since I have so many more systems to put in there, oh well.
Added coolmiester & alain-s to the list! Welcomes!!!!!
