x99 classy EK D5 PWM pump low flow rate.

I have purchased an EK D5 PWM pump and connected it to CPU fan 4-pin connector on the board... When I set maximum pump speed (100%) in bios, it only runs at 3400rpm, as opposed to 4800rpm of pumps maximum speed... Any ideas folks?..
