Make sure your cpu & gpu are running at advertised speeds while playing your games.

Other then not seeing high FTP are the games running smoothly? What NVIDIA Driver are you running and are you only Installing the Graphics and PhysX Drivers and nothing else? Maybe your older hero vii/i7-4790k was as better setup then your new hero ix /i7-7700k setup. Any know issues posted over on ASUS Forums on your new setup?

What do you mean by "entire reinstall tomorrow" I thought this was a Fresh Windows Install? Did you do an Image Restore of an Image back up from your old computer? This Driver my Help as well. GeForce HotFix driver version 376.60 http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4293 This is GeForce Hot Fix driver version 376.60 that addresses the following: Battlefield 1 crash on some Kepler based GPUs Windows 10 64-bit version

Have you disabled v-sync in the nvidia software? It's under 3d program controls. If it's on it will throtle down gpu and lock frame rates

As EVGATech_MDecker above said you MUST install your OS (from scratch) because you have changed three major items in your platform. 1 Motherboard 2 Chipset 3 CPU, Windows of any version can't run across different platforms like what you have done. While you may think it will work it will be very unstable. On your Overclock @ 5.1, also reduce this and retest as it may be stable for your CPU it may not be Stable for the Combo of your CPU & GPU. Set your Motherboard back to the Default or Optimized Settings before you start your OS install and you may also want to set your Memory to Auto as well. Disable your Intel® HD Graphics 630 on the Motherboard also before you start your OS install.

Intel® Core™ i7-7700K Processor This is really a nice CPU you have. Max Turbo Frequency of 4.5 is sweet. Once your OS is installed updated from Windows Updates make sure you have no Yellow ! in your Device Manager. Download DDU & Driver 376.60 from above and have it ready. After all this then "remove your network cable" or (Turn Off your Wireless Network) Remove all the NVIDIA Software and Drivers. After the Install of the Drivers and NVIDIA Update that Windows installs your screen may turn black just press the Enter Key and your computer should restart. Run DDU now in Safe Mode and then Clean out with DDU and then restart your PC. Install only the Graphics Driver and PhysX Driver and nothing else. Restart your PC and Run DDU in Normal Mode and Click the Button that Set Windows Update back to Normal. Restart your PC and at this Point Plug in your Network cable or turn on your Wireless Network. Best of luck. Note on "Windows 10 Upgrade" your Windows 7 key should work as from what I have read here on the Forum and else where. You enter the Key After the OS is installed and not at the start on the Install from what I can recall. You Do Not need to install Windows 7........To Install Windows 10 Upgrade.
