Industry standard PCI-SIG specs dictate a 20mm (20.32mm to be exact) space between motherboard PCI/PCIE slots..Each 20mm is counted/measured as a slot space whether there's a slot there or not..Depending on the motherboard make/model/recommended slots for SLI configurations, the length/type of bridge needed can vary..Just remember the '20mm rule' and measure accordingly so that you make sure you get/have the correct bridge..Listed overall length of bridges will vary depending on the bridge manufacturer/seller, which can sometimes be misleading, but their 'gold finger' slot distance is industry standard and will not, and that's what you need to know.
