hello all. recently we discussed how to update the outdated 'hall of fame badges' [ here]. we currently have 5 types of badges and 'folding lunatics' like Barbarossa and anyone above 10 million needs upgraded badges. one idea is to adopt EVGA's ranking that depends on the number of posts one has, which makes sense to me, too. well, the first time discussion was to set a high-enough goal to enter the 'hall of fame' and grant an honoring badge. so we didn't even consider having a 1M badge.
I fell it's best to go with the same idea to stay true to the spirit of the 'hall of fame' thread. otherwise it would just be 'ranking'.

Just another thought, I would avoid any mention of the word slave, or master. Although I am sure it is not intended in any way to be offensive, someone may take it that way.

or maybe the Badge Can Reflect the PPD you put out, 5K+, 10K+, 15K+, 20K+, 25K+, 50K+, 75K+, 100K+, 150K+, 200K+, 250K+, etc. something that works for everyone even new users.

you're right about the top 100 issue. however, keeping the old badges would keep the memories fresh (otherwise we'll start @100 million in next 5 years??) so why not keep the lowest threshold @2 million (which is quite some achievement for small folders. [it was for me!] we need something to keep them [us] folding, too!... well, i tried to avoid any offensive words, i had some ideas about 200-500 million but kept them to myself... and for master/slave issue i tried to look it with humor, from the perspective of addiction, and thought of them independently. if it's not working for everyone we can change it... thanks for the comments.

rjbelans rjbelans, this is a very good layout thanks! barbarossa, i learned a new word today (thanks), i believe it fits very well -for 500M from the point we're looking at it! i hope no one finds it offensive. and guys, remember, unreal tournament used phrase "god like" when you got 5 kills in a row. so it may help us to take this a little loose. cheers + thanks, i'll send an updated list soon to discuss.

I like them but you know how in call of duty you have to get more and more xp to level up each time, like it's not the same amount. Like going from level 42 to 43 requires much more xp then going from level 1 to level 2. I think that would make it more interesting.

Agree 100%
100 M omnipotent folding slave Omnipotent and Slave are contradictory since one refers to a deity having all power / knowledge and the ability to do anything it wants while slaves don't exactly have that choice. Other than that I like this setup.
