I just installed new gtx 1060. I am not a gamer but simply wanted it for display of 4k video. I've noticed that the fan does not run. the card only has a 6 pin power receptacle and I connected it directly to the power supply connector.
I installed the latest driver 375.95 and everything seems to be working properly except the fan. Should it not be running most the time?
