Ive noticed today that when one of my certain cards are in the top slot its cause the gpu cores to act kinda erratic going up and down in freq. also i notice that one of my gpu cores is always 50-60 mhz less than the other. does this seem normal to sli users. as i sit here looking at them top card is at1405 the bottom is at 1367.

You shouldn't need to offset the core clocks in order to have them match.  Reset your offset and try the suggestion found at http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2247197.  If you are still getting a mismatch, try doing a clean install of the graphics drivers and make sure that you've removed any monitoring software before re-installing said driver.

its a new install of windows for the third time. drivers are clean installed before monitoring software i got an another cross ship coming, card one is currently at 135hz crazy idle. card two is at 1366 mhz. But thanks i was wondering if it was strange to see that. I been troubleshooting issues with these graphic cards for weeks.

was monitoring during evolve would go to 1380mhz then i would see the bottom card drop to 1340-1360 range then jump back up. It does seem to follow that card only in sli though.

Turn on kboost and monitor the temps. K boost off temps will fluctuate based on gpu temps

Yes it is normal. Today cards in SLI can run at independent clocks without issue.

You can try setting a positive or negative clock offset on the cards to get them closer to match, but it really doesn't matter, it does not impact performance or stability by having them different.

Have stability issues with at least one of the cards been troubleshooting for weeks got another cross today will try to see if it becomes more stable. When i down clock them to try to get them to produce a good image on screen the second card always is erratic fluxing between 22- 50 hz less then. When i start any game core clocks stop at 1388 on both cards. From what i can tell with everything set to stock the first card gets drag down 1388 from 1400mhz. I normally would not have a issue with this, But the more aa, af or higher textures i add to make my image look good the more jaggies i get.

This is GTA5 i know its new game, needs patching. But this is what happens in other games as well. I just don't understand it
