So I bought my 1070 at best buy...says get gears 4 for free for purchasing...where do I see this "key" I'm supposed to get..im confused..this was legit the selling point to me..

After you get your Game Key from Best Buy and process that Key at NVIDIA you will then; Logon your Windows 10 Anniversary Version of Windows and then Logon to the Store and you will see the game. After you complete the NVIDIA Process you will only get an email saying it was completed, you do not get a Key.

Actually...you're all wrong. Best Buy IS promoting this offer.
Good work though EVGA.
They didn't ring up my card as the "bundle" and instead rang me out as a normal sale.
Got the key.

Again, not sure how eVGA is 'taking' anything. You were told to check with Best Buy. Best Buy didn't check you out correctly, so who was wrong?

I did however activate the key best buy gave me.
Now it sends me ANOTHER code...would I use that code upon release?

This is just to verify that BestBuy is participating in this promotion. When you look at the superclocked GTX 1070 EVGA video card for example on the Best Buy website it says on the right included free: 1 item and when you click that it says Gears of War 4 game bundle. http://www.bestbuy.com/si...p;ks=960&keys=keys

He did check the correct location but it is possible that NVIDIA forgot to list the retailer or Best Buy negotiated with NVIDIA to still be part of the promotion.

Hi aaronhatesit, I am glad to hear that the store helped. I assure you that we do care and that is why we reached out to NVidia on their promotion to try and help. I am glad to hear that the store fixed this for you and if anyone else has a problem where they purchased a qualifying product during this promotion from Best Buy then it is recommended to go back to the Best Buy store that it was purchased from and they should be able to work with you to return and repurchase the item to receive the code made available as of today. aaronhatesit

Let's look at a prime "best buy" example. You purchased your card from them. You see the exact same card on Newegg, so you ask them to price match. Best buy refuses.. But why? The model was a 2778-kb not a 2778-kr. They buy a different part number to sell, just so they don't have to offer discounts. Best buy can be a shady company.
They did this to me on something yesterday, in fact. Even though it was clearly the same product, they have their own SKU at BB and wouldn't honor it.
