They can go ahead a lock this thread, but those who think that congfig editing is cheating, will only show up again with the same old rants in another thread covering the subject.

So much work to do... someone has to do it.

I never said that config editing was cheating.
 
I SAID:  "adding files to the config folder that are not present, for an advantage in hit detection over other players" was.

Adding files to the config folder, is config editing.

Anyways, now one is adding any files to any config folder. I don't know where you get your facts from.

No, I added two lines of TEXT within the configuration FILE that changed the values of those VARIABLES within the games FUNCTIONS.

Lines of code ARE NOT FILES!

Please read that sentence over and over.

Next person who marks a post in this thread as "spam" gets a warning.  Re-read the definition in the TOS, as none of the posts in this thread are spam.  We can see who's marking the posts, so there isn't much of an effort on our part to figure it out.  Just stop.

I don't know if the people that are having a problem with this have been to the ea uk forums.  This is from the associate producer of the game for DICE.  He thought it should be stickied, not a little ea kiddie.  In a lot of cases the people that don't do this have an unfair advantage.  Read the whole post if you are a naysayer.
