So i'm going nvidia surround pretty soon and i noticed from google, that sc 2 doesn't support it...
So im wondering does anyone have a work around? a hack if you will that wont get me band.
I think its BS that blizz would do this, but w.e
Also does anyone else know of any other games that don't work with NS?
Nope Starcraft II does not support any version of multi monitor be it Nvidia Surround or AMD Eyefinity. Blizzard deemed being able to view a massive chunk of the map a huge advantage over your opponent. And in all honesty I gotta agree with them on that one. If you're able to see your opponent's base at a glance and any troops he is sending your way way before he could see any of yours, that will take the games balance and toss it out the window. If you know what your enemy is sending your way and what he's building at all times that will give you too much of an advantage in that game.
There is no known work around that won't get you banned from online play. I too was disappointed in Blizzard's decision at first when I started playing the game. But now I understand why they did it. You would be able to dominate your opponent and counter any of his defenses and troops he is preparing.
This is a lot different than a 1st person shooter like Battlefield or Call of Duty. Sure multi monitor users have a slight advantage over single screen users in FPS games, but the difference is that you opponent can react just as fast as you and while multi monitor does grant you more peripheral vision, it doesn't let you see the vast majority of the map at any given time and clearly see where and what your enemies are doing.
Maybe they should have allowed multi monitor for the single player campaign, but if they did it would only be a matter of weeks before someone found a way to exploit it and use it in multiplayer as well.
