I've got my 980x and 3 GPUs all churning through WUs, but something in Lasso has really begun to irritate me:
- Set the 980x on the core affinities I want and default priority to Idle
- Set the GPUs also on their core affinities and the default priority to Normal
- What has me annoyed is why are the FahCore_15 GPUs, whenever a WU gets finished and then another starts up, always going back to Idle? What the crap is the point of default priority then? Any way of fixing this so it's always going to be Normal and I can just walk away?

There´s one additional setting you need to make.
My version of prolasso is fairly old, so things may be called different now.
Go to options and then enable
forced mode: reapplyprocess priorites and affinities if they change

on an even older version it was called:
more strictly enforce default priorities and affinities (or something like that)

On my Version 3.84 it's still called forced mode: reapplyprocess priorites and affinities if they change
Thanks, Barbarossa...I'll nominate you for a BR.

On a new version, right click on the process and just look a little farther down the set list, there are options to set the cores and affinities "always" or something like that. It creates 'rules' that show up next to the process. Can't be more specific because i'm at work and can't see the screen to tell you exactly. sorry.
If you're still stuck later I can help you in a couple of hrs.

EDIT// see your all set now.. cool!

Yeah there's an option for Default priority (each time run) but like I said that turned out to be absolutely useless...

Hmmmm. I'm using the same version as you are. I've beeen using process lasso since I started folding. Not having any issues with setting priorities and affinities. Just checked my rigs, they're all the way I set them up, which is the way you said you tried it. I re-boot
when I have to do updates, etc.. never had an issue. Oh well, you got it working the way you want using barbarossa's option..
    Fold On!

Without process lasso my TPF sucked on the 980x with my two GPU3 clients running on the 480's.  Once I set everything up so that the GPU's used 1 dedicated cpu my PPD jumped a huge amount.

For now I am just running the SMP as the GPU's are killing me on the power bill with the window AC unit and cenral air having to run 24/7.  I have gotten a nice TPF drop in running just SMP with 12 vs 11 and the GPU's.  I am seeing 92k+ points on the BigAdv WU's vs 83K or so before.

I use prifinity on my systems.  No annoying prompt to upgrade to process lasso pro.

I use PriFinitty 2. I find that its much more easier to setup.
