I got out the measuring tape. 33" for my cubby hole for monitor. Wonder if the screen is curved enough to fit ? Or do I have to go to store with measuring tape ? Going to have to wait to see if my SSI is going thru before purchasing this Beast.

34 inch is from bottom right edge to upper left edge (or vice versa) so I don't know if it will fit in a 33 inch cubby hole.

Based on the current hardware specs for DP and HDMI, 75 hertz is the maximum you'll get from any monitor at that size and resolution as far as I am aware.

I'm really torn between this monitor and the Acer XB270HU. This monitor looks great because I love the resolution and aspect ratio. Plus I think it'd really present an immersive gaming experience. The 75 Hz is kind of a letdown because I've really become used to gaming at 120 Hz. It probably isn't a big deal because I don't think a single card is going to drive that resolution at 120+ FPS for a while anway.
Looks like I'll have some time at least to make a decision...

Doesnt dp1.3 come out then? So maybe that increases the bandwidth? Or maybe dual dp input like the dell 5k?

I used the LG 34UM95 for a few months and loved everything about it except for the lack of 3d/120hz. Im very seriously considering this monitor - my BENQ is aging and I may give it to my younger brother.

As long as it doesnt have that dumb round one stand on their current gsync. I hated my acer because of that stand, and all the wobbling. If it comes with a stable stand like in the pictures.... hello new monitor.

After using larger displays, I dislike how short it is... more width than a 27" 16:9, but that's it. Those are too small, especially for 4K.
