Yup! Just got a notification that my queue was complete and they are reviewing my step up request for the GTX 980 ACX 2.0 And my queue completion date shows 10/7/2014 under my products. 

When did you start the process for step-up?

Of course, I'm also registered to step up to a reference design of the 980, as that was all that was available on the 19th. Supposedly they'll just send you whatever's in stock, but I can't help but wonder if I'm in a queue that leads nowhere.

I was originally in line for the reference design but switched when they released the ACX model.
 
They completed all the verification steps this morning and I dropped my card off at UPS today.

I just received a response from tech support informing me that I'd automatically been switched to an ACX 2.0 model, so it sounds like I'm just a little further behind regisque in line.

Started both of my step ups on the 19th I believe it was. I tried to get the 1.0 but they just sent an email stating that they will be sending me the 2.0 instead (when I get to that point in the que)

Started 09/24 here, still waiting. Good to know people are already getting responses though.

Next Step: Verifying Transaction
 
Not sure what's next but I assume after my payment is accepted in due time I'll get my 970! I also would like to thank EVGA for upgrading me to the ACX 2.0 version. It'll be nice to enjoy it before I throw a block on it :)

Shipped out the 750ti today so maybe next week sometime I'll have it! 

I'd rather receive the ACX 2.0 model. I wish They'd send me that one instead, but I was told it was impossible to change without canceling your queue and starting over. If I'm going to be pushed back simply because I was early enough to get in before they even offered the ACX 2.0, that kind of blows lol...

I did not receive such an email (checked my spam folder thoroughly). That makes me nervous. EVGA - why didn't I receive this announcement email? I'm still "pending" in queue, and would clearly prefer the ACX 2.0.

I haven't received any email either.  I stepped up when the reference was available.  I'm still pending everything.  

I wanted to clarify a few things in this thread.
 
If you entered the step up queue for the 970 ACX 1 card, you were automatically upgraded to the 970 ACX 2.0 model when we put that on the step up list instead.
 
If you entered the step up queue for the 980 Reference card, you will still be receiving that card as supplies allow. If you wish to change to the ACX 2.0 card as your replacement, please contact customer service and we can put in a request to have you changed over.

so i have some question here :
first where can you guys see your position in queue ?? 
and i sign up for step up on 9/22/2014 for the acx 2.0, that was all they have at the time i signed up, so can i have an aproximately date of when i am gonna receive that email ? i have been waiting for that card for so long !

Can't see your position in the que until you've been approved basically which doesn't make much sense! There is also no approximate date on how long it will take, I stepped up right away I was spamming f5 on the 19th and still haven't received an e-mail, odd thing is there are a few people that have been approved yet entered the que 2-3 days later than I.
