Would I need to upgrade my CPU (i7 2700k) to avoid bottlenecking the titan.

My computer finds cures for diseases and searches for aliens when I'm not gaming...what does yours do?

and what would the rest of your system consist of right now? and what resolution would you be playing at?

you would certainly need to oc your cpu to a little over 4.0 to get best use out of a gpu like that especially at 1920x1080. for high res it wont matter as much but it is still good to have your cpu oced so as not to hold back some games just in general. sadly even my 2500k at 4.4, it is a limitation in some places for a few games. heck in GTA4 on max settings and in a few spots for a couple of other games, I cant even maintain 60 fps which goes to show how poorly optimized some games are.
