Nice rig. Now you just need some water cooling on the video card.

    Dear Dude,

Is that an EK DCP/DangerDen/OCZ = Jingway Technology?  I just purchased an EK DCP 4 recently.  Arrived yesterday.  My Swiftech Apogee XT arrived today.  Haven't fitted the pump or the block yet.  Still using my Dtek and Eheim until I figure out how I am going to raise the 500mm vertical XSPC reservoir to pump nozzle height.  I need to make a vertical mount for the res and pump.  My water bits are outside case all except for the waterblocks.

You are using 12mm ID hose like me.  It looks like the thick walled tubing as well.  Which leads me to ask how you got the hose clips on when those 2 nozzles are so close together?  How thick is your tubing?  That is the thick walled tubing right?

I think you should add a Vreg fan like I have.  I got a 120mm fan squeezed in horizontally just above the graphics card next to the rear case fan.  It blows air up over the PWM heatsinks.  Can't really rely on case fans for PWM cooling on i7 especially in summer.   I don't know, maybe the rear fan is close enough to make a difference?  I have my case fans low speed most of the time so I need the extra PWM fan.

I'm starting to like the look of the thick tubing.

Every bit counts.  I have push/pull fans on my rad and even though people argue that hot air rises, I have them as intake and they blow over my ram and vrm's.  It's not like hot air is going through my rad.  It's probably the coolest air in the case.

I actually tried the fan reversing just before christmas.  I have coolermaster cosmos 1000.  For me I don't think it reduced PWM temp but I guess I didn't test at load, only idle.

I would need to add a dust filter if I had rear fan sucking in.

How do u find the CPX pump?  Quiet?  Good pressure?

    Sgt.Steiger

    Maximum Static Overclock updated.  4.0Ghz!!

Will be working on my dynamic clocks soon with Turbo modes and power saving features.

You can go higher than 4ghz Sgt.  I tried and tried for several weeks with no luck.  It was only when I pushed my VTT up sufficiently did it become OCCT stable at 4.2ghz.

I also had a good dynamic/power saving overclock of 3.747ghz and ram overclocked to 1700mhz.  I had to RMA the mem though because one stick was faulty.  The new mem has problems past 1600mhz so I had to make a new overclock.  I can't get the dynamic OC to work at 3.8ghz.  I guess because I had to raise Bclock to 200.  Dynamic worked fine with Bclock of 170.

I've been running 4.2GHz (200x21) stable on air for weeks now. My VTT is at Auto, which I think is resulting in 1.34V (I'm using XMP for my RAM, which may be a factor).

That's a nice rig Sgt. Cool documentation too.

I'm about to do a log on a P55 FTW also. I can't decide if I should use an 860-ES or 870-ES. I have heard off n on that the 860s actually clock a little better than the 870s but, not sure if that applies to ESs, retails, or both.

This is a great rig and an equally great post but I think this belongs in the mods rigs section so I'll move it there
