Hi, I'm looking very hard EVGA's "SuperClocked" gtx970

Can anyone tell me if undeclocking the card would be a problem? I've never needed to underclock a gpu before and I can go into the reasons why I want to now - (hopefully below 560ti levels) - its interesting but probably a bit tl:dr ;)

Also if anyone can comment/reassure me with the 'living with' experience in regards to fan noise on the acx 2.0 on the superclocked version - my pc is on the desk very close to my head so idle & low load noise levels are my biggest concern - I'm with it all day long...and all night (#gamedevproblems)

Any help appreciated.

You can get any SC or other factory OC'd card to run at non-overclock settings by enabling Debug Mode. To go the Nvidia Control Panel, click on Help and click on the option for Debug Mode.

Thanks for the info, good to know.

Can't seem to find a video of one of these cards working at idle (its not accurate but gives a good impression) -  just a bunch of coil whine video's so i'll know if i'm unlucky enough to get one of those :)

    Thanks again.
