Unboxing my new card I've found tiny bubbles on the 2 signs named 'EVGA' and 'Geforce GTX 980 Ti' which seem to indicate a protective cover. Is this true and should they be removed? Any more protectives on the card?

The cards do ship with plastic protective covers over the stickers, the cooler shroud, and the fan hubs.  These should be removed.  That should be it for plastic covers, though.

Thank you for your information. Now I've removed them. I've discovered them but wanted avoid possible scratches.
Would be nice if there would be a hint in the box as these covers are not that obvious.
