Plug the monitor to the onboard video port, Boot into the Bios of the computer, and change the primary adapter from Onboard Video to PCI-E, then switch the monitor back to the 750 TI and it should work.

Check the manual that goes to the computer, its ussually F2 or DEL key you have to tap during system startup, but for OEM systems it could be different

Right because the system is currently set to boot off the onboard video, need to figure out how to get into the Bios to change primary adapter from onboard to PCI-E.

are you saying you wer able to enter the bios and thier is no option to change from onboard to PCI-E or you don't have the option to enter the bios at all? every computer should have some keyboard command to enter the bios at startup.

    Hello,

You may just need to update the bios on the motherboard before installing this gpu.

OK, maybe this is a stupid question. _Nite_ referenced this. So as to make it clear. What connector is your monitor connected to?

There should be an option in the bios to select onboard graphics or pci-e, keep looking, it's there...

Yes, and when it goes black, it should be going to the card. Regarding the 2 blank posts: if you're trying to post links or pictures, it won't work as you have to have over 20(?) posts before it will let you...

advance menu > bus options > PCI VGA Pallete Snooping

PCI VGA Palette Snooping Sets the VGA palette snooping bit in PCI configuration space. Needed only when more than one graphics controller is installed.

Enable that and see if the 750 TI will work.
