Some of the POST codes are just checkpoints (way stations along the great highway of the Power On Self Test). Code 85 is the checkpoint at which errors are displayed. If no other code is displayed (which is strange in itself), you are going to have to do on a larger scale, what you already did with the graphic cards. There a bunch of threads here that give ideas of what to do, but you basically need to strip the system down to the OS drive, one CPU enabled and one RAM stick. I would stay with the GTX 240 as the display adapter. If nothing else, pretty much any "bigger" PSU should power that setup. If the system boots into Windows with the minimalist hardware configuration. Keep adding hardware one item at a time, until you get failure. Generally people add RAM to the CPU0 bank, then enable CPU1 and add RAM to that bank.
Make sure you have all the correct mobo power cables connected and you haven't improperly seated any cards or DIMMs.
