hi there everyone,
I hope I have come to the right place to get some help.... I have an evga780i sli motherboard and currently using 1 amd radeon 6570 video card. now my problem is that I have two monitors and I want to run dual screen... ive tried both monitors and they work fine ive even updated my video drivers and I'm not getting any detection of my second screen.... I have got one monitor running through VGA port and the other connected via Using A DVI to VGA connector, now I know that both of the DVI - VGA connectors I have have been tried and tested in another machine and they work fine.. now I'm lost.. ive been in touch with amd and I don't seem to get anywhere with them so I'm come here in hope of possibilities that someone might just have the answer I'm looking for.. I will be grateful for any advice possible

In order to maximize the support you receive, I've requested your thread is moved to "General Hardware".

Because you use an AMD card, I am unable to help you as I don't know how that works. If it were an Nvidia (Master Race) card, It'd be simple to get it running with the software that's provided (Nvidia Control Panel).

There are two types of DVI...DVI-D and DVI-I. The AMD cards tend to have one of each on them, but don't mix them up because only one will work with analog VGA signals. Use the DVI-I port.
