You know - when I first got on the forums (more than just surfing around here and there), a member was complaining about how the forums had gone to pot and the only thing people wanted to do was rant, rave and complain about how they got the shaft or someone was making stupid remarks.
I've been following this now for the last while and I have to say - if this doesn't prove that completely wrong, I don't know what will. The fact that there are people out there that are willing to help others - even when they don't know them - reaffirms my faith in humanity.
And, Chrome, if you ever find yourself headed eastward give me a shout - my black lab would love some company - and we have an empty guest room. Good luck, keep safe and try to enjoy this ride as much as you can.

Well said bobalee and quite honestly even I was one of those guys who had started to loose hope, not in just the forums but in mann kind period. I had begun to think that people now only knew greed and hate and the few that were good stayed in hiding. I like to be proven wrong. I appreciate the offer bud, and please, keep it open. Who knows what will happen here, and what direction I go from here. Ido know I still want to see the ocean, It's a must man, I want to snorkle, I want to see a reef, the colors, the sounds the salty taste of the water... indeed the evga community is just amazing, I've had so much help from several members here as well.   I'm very thankful for it too

Truly inspiring to have found this thread. I to have been going through some rough times.
Going through a lot of “When is it ever going to ever get better?” But you know, having a positive attitude is the only way to go. Oh crap, I start drifting into that negative thinking again, snap out of it, what good does that thinking do for me anyway? Can always go to the BF3 forum and reinforce my negative thinking. I really think there is something seriously wrong with those people that post on BF3 forums, don’t ya think?
But instead I came here tonight, and what a wonderful feeling I have now, my heart feels kind of warm and fuzzy…
I really think things will work out just fine for you Chrome, you have that positive attitude that makes things all right. And it’s great you have your friend Hershey with you, my friend is my cat, who is always been there for me in every way. Just follow your heart, it will never mislead you.
And thank you to all the rest of the people responding to this post. What a great group of people!
I think you all deserve a BR, for it is not just helping with computer problems, in this case, it is helping with something far more precious…. The human spirit.

Interesting - looks like a great community here! I also recently moved less than 2 years ago and got some help from rich people in the new neighborhood which did restore some of my faith in humanity. A lot of success in the future world will largely depend upon social coherence and humanitarian strength.

I do not think it has anything to do with being rich my friend. I am far from rich. Am I better off than some yeah, are the people that are willing to help other better off could be. But in my case I have a extra room for the time being and yeah I took a risk letting him come to stay with me. But he also took a risk wanting to try something new in a new place and I think that was what I thought was great. On a other note that is kinda funny when I met him in town because gps wont get to my house, He had said the first thought he was thinking was that I was having him fallow me out to the country to kill him. Made me laugh when he said that. But at the same time I was thinking O crap what did I do did I let a crazy into my house. Its been a couple days we are both still alive same with the dogs. One more thing I really be leave there are truly nicer people in the world then we think it is just that we get stuck in are bubbles, are negative twisted sometimes true views of things. Well at least that is what I would like to be leave after the things I have seen for real. So rich no surviving yes. pinching pennies to make a nickel

This is interesting, man! It's nice to see strangers helping each other out!! (I know you guys are not complete strangers to each other, having talked with each other, but still in a way you are!!) That was funny how you both were afraid of each other!!! Personally, for me from my experience in particular, it did have to do with them being rich!! :D Hehe, just saying.. and that was real nice. A filthy rich family (say $5 million income per year) helping me out like as if it were pocket change. It still did restore my faith in the rich.. :)
