I have a question about updating the bios for this board, as with many other boards when running RAID0. how can you load defaults and exit when running raid? you will not be able to boot to windows. I assume it to be ok to save to default, enable the raid function to at least get you to boot, right?

What ram are you using and are you using all sticks or just 1? Please post part numbers also. You can update the bios in Windows, but you obviously need to get there first.

If you have a spare PC, you can try to recover the bios and install it on a drive, then install it through the bios without going into windows.

You would need to use 1 stick of RAM to do so, of course. Try the 1 stick in ram slot 1, and see if it will get to the bios for you. If you can, then you should be able to access windows to update. If not, then you may need to look at a very cheap single stick of ram that is compatible, just long enough to access the bios.
