Just dropped a 970 GTX in a Dell XPS.
It is still buggy and my graphics card is better then the monitor I can currently playing on (1680*1050 next upgrade).
If Star Citizen turns out as good as the painted dream, it could be fun.
Any suggestions on if better to go with;
Bullets (Tom Clancy Rainbow six)
or
Blades option (Assasin's Creed?)
I have not played either series
Any feedback or suggestions welcome

So... finished GTA 5 and now time to play SOMA. Played it a bit and realized it is more of a jump scare sudden sounds heart attack kind of game so I am going to YT to watch a walkthrough. Gaming is getting out of my system and blood. Too lazy to play it. :p BLOPS 3 is next and I will definitely play it. Suffering from survival horror withdrawal. I want RE 4, Silent Hill, Dino Crisis type of games. Anything releasing anytime soon?.

Just finished SOMA.
Just another generic game. I know I shouldn't compare but it wasn't even half as scary as Amnesia The Dark Descent (officially my number 1 horror game).
I give it 6/10.

Installed BLOPS 3. Decided not to play it now. Downloaded Batman Arkham Knight.
Installed BAK. Uninstalled it after spending quite a bit of time on it.
Why?. Performance issues which I ignored because I didn't felt much. Second, which sealed the deal for me was the car. Read that you have to use it a lot of time in the game and I absolutely didn't like it. Third, proper ending only if you 100% the game. Sorry. Not interested.
Last Batman game and what an utter c**p they threw out. LOL
Just going to watch now on YT then play BLOPS 3.
As I have said already, gaming is running out of me but it is more about the games. They are pathetic.
All previous Batman parts were awesome and I played them all. This didn't catch my attention. Will watch though because I have played previous games.

I am about halfway through Mad Max and I am having fun so far. I thought Batman was a blast. I haven't spent more than 10 minutes of Fallout 4. Sadly, Alien Isolation bored me and I stopped playing. I will go back to it someday. I think the only games I want to play that I don't have yet is the new Far Cry, Just Cause 3 and Mirrors Edge.

Ok. Just finished with Batman Arkham Knight.
DAMN!. Impressive game. I went in with low expectations.
Not sure about the story though. Batman being exposed and all that. I thought he was anonymous to Gotham forever. Guess I'll leave it to Batman comic worms oops I mean lovers to deal with. I just like Batman as character and fell in love with the first game.
Bat mobile fights other than excavator were really pathetic. -1 for that.
-2 for thinking of us PC users as bunch of morons. What the hell did they give us?. All of us have 2x Titans and hexacores in our PC?. WTH?. I still cant believe that it was the last title and they did this. The top and prime example in my book as to how consoles are destroying gaming for us PC crowd.
That PhysX smoke effect was one mighty fps killer!. :p

Is your 3570 clocked? Also, what was FPS normally, and what did the smoke do to it? A 660 is a few years old still, but many games still do work pretty well on it. Also what resolution?

I am not sure 3570 can be overclocked. My whole PC is as stock as it can be. 1600x900 resolution. Smoke did?. Felt like slow motion to me. Most probably 10fps down from 30. Happens when you call the bat mobile. I watched a walkthrough on YT. Guy had a GTX 690 and it played good. Key word is 690. Max setting and 60fps but many times I noticed stutter and 240p textures and bad texture streaming. 1080p and want peace of mind?. As far as I have assessed, one should be alright with a GTX 980Ti. :p If you want to to buy this game, I will prefer you dont pay 60 or 70$ for it. Doesn't deserve it. It is still a bad port as I have read many reviews and user opinion after all recent updates. No real performance update ever came out. All lies. Just DLC upon DLC. you might want to consider upgrading to a 980/970, minimum. The 660 has 2gb of VRAM. Most games are now at the minimum requirement of 2gb to play. That's definitely a cause as to why you were getting bad FPS in the smoke on Batman Arkham Knight

I can understand that. I am playing the beta at times because I enjoy the arena matches. There is lots of hiccups and balancing to be done. ATM the lowest tier ship is invulnerable to damage except cockpit shots, makes it so everyone is flying it. Though its come a long way in last 6 months alone.

you obviously have an ego problem for someone who is only rocking with a 660. You definitely need to take a pill. Period moment maybe? It's ok we understand. First off, check out the reviews, and read some news on what the standard is for minimum requirements. you're bottlenecking, and it's your GPU. and second, try and understand normal English. I said "you might want to 'consider'. That's your choice. take it or leave it, and I wasn't giving you anything. so there is no thanks required. if you want low FPS, have fun with that..., tool. here is an article for your "amusement". On this list you have maybe 2 games at most you can play until your video card chokes. So, delayed paying BLOPS 3 and watched RE0 walkthrough. I, of course, never played it as it was for GameCube. I must say, the graphics are excellent. I loved the detail. In the end, though, It felt like just another game. Also, Wesker looks MIGHTY!. I think it deserves to be bought if you love Resident Evil or are new to it. Now on to CoD.

I've been using the EVGA GTX 670 Superclocked with 4GB VRAM for a while (yes, that's 2GB more than Fettle). Previously, I was on 1200p using a 24" TN monitor. During that time, I cranked up everything including AA/AF and never ran into issues. I've even got a first generation i7 (920 D0). About a month ago, I picked up a 25" IPS monitor @ 1440p. At 1440p, I don't need to turn on AA because the pixel pitch is 0.216mm and it makes it feel like AA is on anyways. Even now, using my specs, I'm still able to play all of the latest titles without a slowdown. So, no, a 970/980 isn't required. Yet, what IS surprising is that Fettle is only playing at 900p (1600x900) with newer CPU specs and one notch less in the GPU and still the PhysX is a bit laggy. However, Batman Arkham is known to be a resource hog no matter what you have and that should be taken into consideration.
I do agree with the article Stalinx20 posted and recommend anything higher than 4GB VRAM. Even playing at 1200p previously, Watch Dogs hit the 3900MB mark with AA cranked.

4 Games Workshop PC games coming out this year and 3 of them looking amazing.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada

It took us decades, but we are finally getting some good Games Workshop vidya!
Yeah, 2 of those looked really good, had not seen Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, but I will take a look at it.
Prepare for your GPU to say uncle....
Picture looks sweet, will have to look into the game more. I am relatively confident that my GPUs will be fine though  , hopefully it does support SLI. I love the warhammer universe too, so this just gets better.

Sadly nothing for me on the pc but I'm looking forward to the Mega Man Legacy Collection & Hyrule Warriors Legends, both for 3DS. I might next month preorder the MM Legacy CE version though for the amiibo.

I've been using the EVGA GTX 670 Superclocked with 4GB VRAM for a while (yes, that's 2GB more than Fettle). Previously, I was on 1200p using a 24" TN monitor.
With 4gb you're going to have much more of a benefit than 2gb card. His situation he is going to be lowering settings in almost all games from here on. It's unfortunate. That's why I said what I said. Fettle
