I change my avatar fairly frequently, but have been using this Steven Segal one for a while now, just because it's so damn ridiculous.

got my nickname along time ago. when i was in elementary school. its funny cause my dad got the same nickname when he was in elementary school as well. I really don't know why they started calling me Foellarbear i just went along with it.

My nickname is after the mythological figure who also happens to be a significant icon and creature in the Heroes of Might and Magic game series. I've been named after that creature by a close friend actually, years ago, 1998 I think. I found the base picture for my avatar on the web and edited it to this shape. I have other avatars with the same theme...

Well..my nick name is about as random as they come..wasn't very active in the forums when I initially joined. However, my avatar speaks for itself. I'm a big fan of Bleach and various other Japanese anime. I always love them when I was a kid. back to when the use to show the old Speed Racer shows on TV..

Used Slider for about 17 years, Started at a web/Gaming site called Simnet, was a Hornet Fligh Sim place, Am a massive fan of TopGun and Maverick, Iceman were taken so I took Slider (Iceman's RIO)

I work from home some of the time.  When a certain employee called me, she would always ask "what are you wearing now".  I usually said "jammies and bunny slippers".  Someone sent me the GIF animation to answer the question, "but what about casual Fridays?"  I wish I knew who created it so I could include some attribution.

The nickname came about when I needed to log into a Toshiba help forum many years ago.  They required an AOL account for some (stupid) reason.  Every login name I tried was already taken.  Then I remembered a college roommate (a smoker) who would run around waving a cigarette and saying "even Zoltan the Gypsy loves the cool taste of <whatever cig brand it was>", and zoltanthegypsy was born.

Kind of funny for a total non-smoker to use an old cigarette ad for nickname. Oh well, necessity is a mother...

Now would someone tell me why any of this is interesting?

Way back when eBay started I needed a user name so I look back to my childhood. My aunt & I use to collect coke polar bears together. I still love polar bears & I wanted a play on words so I thought of Seabigbear-Polar bears swim in the sea & they are big, too. So that's me!!!
