Hi all,

i have following problem:

My System freezes sometimes. Within Gameplay, or Bluray vieving, even in Firefox or using IE.

Nothing in the event viewer.
Installed Win8.1, all drivers and updates installed. BIOS 1.09 (no overclocking no nothing)
Samsung M.2 256GB set as bootdrive
Kingston HyperX DIMM 16GB DDR4-2800 Quad-Kit
GeForce 780GTX EVGA Watercooled

Any ideas?

    Same here.

    Not windows. Running linux.
No warning, just locks up. Mouse doesnt move, graphics freeze. Sometimes sound repeats.
Has happened in games, multi-tasking, and even just sitting at a blank desktop.

System also doesnt respond to ping from another computer, or attempts to ssh into it.
    BIOS 1.06, 1.09, 1.11, 1.12 (current)
System is NOT overclocked, and memtest/prime stable.

X99 Classified, 5930k, 64gb of DDR4-2400. All settings on auto.

Losing hope quickly on this board, been fighting with it since I got it.

Many M.2 drives have issues as a primary OS drive, which should be ironed out with bios updates.  Try updating your bios Redflag, and reload the optimized defaults.  Verify your voltages are within spec manually for vcore, cache, and ram.  Try adding a small bump of 0.025v to either one to see if it helps.  It might be a bad piece of hardware that requires slightly more voltage to be stable at stock speeds.

In addition input your memory timings manually in the BIOs

Looks like it's to early to put OS in hands of M.2 drive.
Maybe at the beginning of 2016.
Offer is poor, people have problems with all boards,...
I thought when manufacturer launch board CORSAIR, Samsung, Intel, Crucil will fill in market with different model.
Looks like at least one year more SATA III will stay as primary option and manufacturer still continue to launch SATA III SSD as M.2 is not present.
One expensive Samsung drive cover 90% of configurations.

After switching OFF the C-States, all seems to be fine now.
    But i will test it.
BIOS Update will be the next change

The M2 is not the problem, if you are reading Post number 2!

    OK,
    maybe a little update:
in the last time my computer works fine - without any problems.
No freezes since the disabling of the C States and BIOS update to 1.12

    - to do´s:RAM Speed actual 2666 - ihave to speed up to 2800
Maybe overclocing of CPU (not really neccessary, but watercooled, so let´s give it a try ;-) )
M2 speed is very slow, i will paste a screen from my ATTO next days.

I was having freezing problems, I ran each of my sticks through three cycles of Memtest86.  Two of the four sticks failed - one failed two cycles, one failed on all three.  They're on their way back to G.SKILL and I'm on two sticks now, no crashes since.  2666 sticks, 1.12 bios using XMP profile.
