I'm honestly ok with either connect. While I think the horizontal one is nice for cable management, I think the vertical connector is nice for showing off premium or self-sleeved cables.

Yes you are right, the original idea of cable management was to hide and cover-up (as much as possible) the cables, and I think the right angled 24 pins connector is made to help to hide the cables, not to show off cables, below a photo of my case
