Anyone know how to turn up the mouse speed in the Bios. Mine isn't normally set slow, but in the dark bios, it takes 4 or 5 swipes across the pad, just to move to the multiplier option.

    I will update tonight.

Haven't tried to our further, still at 4.6 on the 3930k, but I took the offset from +52 down to +45 so far... It is a minor change, but I am going to keep lowering it, and see when I need to bump it back up.

Just did the bios update via Windows, now it will not boot. Tried resetting cmos and still nothing. Switched to second bios, and still nothing.

Had to power down my psu for a few minutes, then I was able to power up.... Odd

Is it normal for my PCIe lights to be blinking green? It's been doing so for the past couple of BIOS revisions.

Power Off is Part of updating the Bios, the last step is to POWER off your computer.
It will tell you this on the screen if you update with a USB Flash Drive and update from the DOS Prompt.

I would recommend that you redo your Bios Update and Power Off your computer.

Updated Bios on the X79 Dark and now I have a new USB driver that I cannot clear out:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

    Any thoughts?

    USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3000&REV_0200
    USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3000
    USB\Class_FF&SubClass_00&Prot_00
    USB\Class_FF&SubClass_00
    USB\Class_FF
    00000040
    CONFIGFLAG_FAILEDINSTALL
    Port_#0003.Hub_#0004

    CM_DEVCAP_REMOVABLE
    {ade48ad5-5c73-11e4-a111-806e6f6e6963}
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.
    E0000203
    10/25/2014 12:29:40
    %SystemRoot%\System32\setupapi.dll,-18

So if I disable all USB Ports in the Bios then the problem goes away, but then I would have no USB 2.0 Ports.

I installed Bios 2.12 and re-setup my Bios with my standard settings and the USB 2.0 Issue has gone away.
With this I believe that 2.13 has issue now with the USB 2.0 upgrade in the Bios.

Mine show Solid Red in the OS under 2.12 testing now while in the Bios. Solid Red as well while in the Bios.
    I have 3 GPU's Installed.
I looked at my two X79 Classified MB and they are Solid Red as well.

Best way to know is update Bios number 3 and do some testing.
On the X79 Dark I am seeing some USB 2.0 update problems with 2.13.
I have some Classified MB but have not yet tested with the new Bios.

Silly question inbound, so you have been warned...

Do you have the 6 pin installed in the lower left, and the y pin (rather than 24 pin) PCI option enabled in the Bios?

Mine flash green at boot and then turn red once the bios is loaded. I seem to remember them being orange when I had power coming from the 24 pin, but I could be making that up in my head as well...

Maybe just glance in the advanced tab, power options, and see which power connection it is set to.

Had the same problem and submitted blinking PCi-E lights to support ticket - they replied as follows:
"The flashing green LED is a random BIOS issue when you have "Internal PLL Overvoltage" disabled. Try enabling it, and that should prevent the green LED flash."

I looked at my two X79 Classified MB and they are Solid Red as well.

BIOS and OS, all the way from boot to shutdown.

    Yep and yep.

One possible oddity... I'm running Win 8 with the CSM off (native UEFI boot). Anyone else running like that? If the code for the lights is wedged into the compatibility layer instead of the UEFI part of the firmware, that'd explain it.

Had the same problem and submitted blinking PCi-E lights to support ticket - they replied as follows:
"The flashing green LED is a random BIOS issue when you have "Internal PLL Overvoltage" disabled. Try enabling it, and that should prevent the green LED flash."

Wow.  That's... ? I believe you, but that's just the strangest fix I've ever heard. Is there an EVGA tech that can give a little more background on this?  Thanks!

EVGA Tech Jaeson Wilda replied to my question "the PCI-E annunciator lights flash green after start up (continue to flash after start up). I think the lights should cycle and show a light red or amber without flashing." and answered "The flashing green LED is a random BIOS issue when you have "Internal PLL Overvoltage" disabled. Try enabling it, and that should prevent the green LED flash."

Since I'm still running (209 ?) at least two revisions back is it worth updating to this one? I'm from the old school of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but sometimes it is best to run the latest bios if there is a definite advantage to it. So opinions please...

I found Issue with USB 2.0 Drivers under 2.13 so gave 2.12 one more go around and seems to be ok.

Yeah I read that and from what I’ve read since I’ve been hanging around here for a while now since I do like EVGA products you seem to be a pretty knowable user and system builder. Since my system is stable and there is no consuming reason to I’ll hang back and wait for a final revision of the dark bios. Although this may in fact be the final one, after all they have the X99 boards that are probably getting the most attention now and we’ve possibly slipped to the back burner. Well only time will tell. Thanks for the reply.

Anyone updated to the BIOS 2.13 for the EVGA DARK?
I am having an issue currently where if I reboot my pc it does not want to boot again, I have to power it down completely and then discharge all power from board and then boot again.
I only have this board a few days now but any help will be appreciated. Currently im on BIOS 2.12.
