You can either lower the bclck or up the vcore to get it 100% stable.

Without Vdroop I imagine you are actually using close to 1.475-1.485 vcore.  That is high!  I was stable at 4.0ghz for a few years but my current settings are no longer stable.  I was only using 1.375 vcore.  It appears my CPU has degraded and requires a lot more voltage than previously to run at the same speed.

Anyway, my point is running that high Vcore without Vdroop is pushing it.  Especially since you aren't stable even that high.

I would try to find a lower stable overclock with lower Vcore being required.  Then you can slowly work your way up to find the max overclock possible.  From all I've read I would also only adjust the voltage for Vcore, VTT and Dimm.  I would set everything else to auto.  I could be wrong on that but that is what I have read in most overclocking threads.

Gigabyte Z97X UD5H, i7 4790k, Corsair H60 push/pull, 16gb (2x8gb) G.SKILL Trident 2400 mhz, Kingston HyperX ram cooler, 2 x MSI 980ti Golden Edition, Samsung 850 Evo 500gb, Samsung F3 1tb, XFX PRO850w Black Edition, 3 x Dell U2415 - 5840x1200 bezel corrected, Win 7 Pro, Logitech Z5500s, Sennheiser HD280 Pro.

Ok I think you should lower you bclck to 180 and test to see if you BSOD

I tried this configuration and it seems my choice would be to downclock. So I would 19 for multiplier with which VCore and VTT?

Hey!

It lasted a full hour (4 times), should I start downgrade the VCore then VTT?

It really sucks to down to 180 x 20, I can't even finish 4 times of Linx in 1 hour.

Anyway, I'm doing testing since I woke up, and i'm now to v1.4 and stable. should I keep going under v1.4?

Thanks!

What you can do is rebuild the overclock higher so follow what we did before to make your overclock

How's it going?

Hi Gomez, I'm currently in my exams but am trying my previous configuration:
Mother Board ( EVGA X58 3SLI SN : 312 )
CPU ( i7 920) (DO)
CPU Cooler ( Corsair H100i (Push-Pull Configuration) )
Memory ( GSkills Triple Channel 12 GB DDR3 )
PSU ( Thermaltake ToughPower 750W )
GPU ( EVGA GTX570 )
Operating System ( Windows 8.1 x64 ) (instead of Windows 8, x64)

Frequency Control
CPU Clock Ratio ( 20X )
CPU Host Frequency (Mhz) ( 186 ) (instead of 180)
MCH Strap ( Auto )
CPU Uncore Frequency (Mhz) ( 2981 mhz { 16X } )
CPU Clock Skew ( 0 ps )
Spread Spectrum ( Disabled )
PCIE Frequency (Mhz) ( 100 )

Memory Feature
Memory Speed ( Standard )
Memory Control Setting ( Enabled )
Memory Frequency ( 1067Mhz / 2:8 )
Channel Interleave Setting ( 6 Way )
Rank Interleave Setting ( 4 Way )
Memory Low Gap ( Auto )
tCL Setting ( )
tRCD Setting ( 9 )
tRP Setting ( 9 )
tRAS Setting ( 24 )
tRFC Setting ( Auto )
Command Rate ( Auto )
tRL ( +0 )

Voltage Control
EVGA VDroop Control ( Without VDroop )
CPU VCore ( 1.33750v ) (+1 Notch)
CPU VTT Voltage ( +100mV )
CPU PLL VCore ( Auto )
**IOH PLL VCore ( Auto )
DIMM Voltage ( 1.5V )
DIMM DQ Vref ( +0mV )
QPI PLL VCore ( 1.20V )
IOH VCore ( Auto )

IOH/ICH I/O Voltage ( Auto )
ICH VCore ( Auto )
PWM Frequency ( 800 KHz )

CPU Feature
Intel SpeedStep ( Disabled )
Turbo Mode Function ( Disabled )
CxE Function ( Disabled )
Execute Disable Bit ( Disabled )
Virtualization Technology ( Enabled )
Intel HT Technology ( Enabled )
Active Processor Cores ( All )
QPI Control Settings ( Enabled )
QPI Link Fast Mode ( Enabled )
QPI Frequency Selection ( 4.800 GT/s )

PnP/PCI     PCI Express
Maximum Payload Size ( 4096 )

Power Management Setup
ACPI Suspend Type ( S1(POS) )
HPET Support ( Enabled )
HPET Mode ( 64-bit )

And i'm very disapointed in the temps:

1- Back then, I had those:
Idle : 40-41 34 38 34
21h19: 63-65 55-57 61-62 54-56
21h31: 65-66 58-59 63 57-58
21h41: 66-67 60-62 64 58-59
21h51: 65-67 57-60 62-64 58
21h58: 66-68 60-61 63-65 57-58
This is about 20% better :)

Which were good, now i'm getting temps arround 71 after 1-2 minutes of Linx. Is it because of degradation or my thermal paste or...?

2- [Edit] I uped the VCore a notch and will write a post uppon update.

Thanks!

I don't see why the thermal paste would degrade in such a short time period

To say the least, it works very smoothly right now! i'm 10/20 runs (after 1 hour 59 minutes) and  temps varies arround 66-72 + I'm running All, which are Problem Size 35536 & 9662 MiB (Memory). Would you tell me to keep them running for another then times?

Thanks!
