Okay that's VERY weird. v4.1 4.2 and 4.3 doesn't work. However v2.11 (that I used previously) works. So I'll let everyone know of how it comes togheter. It would really be mean to have my memory yet again being fail, since I changed my Corsair vengeance to GSkills because Corsair's stick went out of the box failed. Anyway, I'll let you know the moment I get 3 complete test (Passed or Errors)

Hi Gomez, long time no talk! :) Currently, I have 2 test that have Passed without any errors and there's a test running @ 66%, as requested for Memtest86. I'm really confused, as even my stable OC is not booting. I'll wait until 100% for test #3 so we can be 100% sure we have good RAM.

I did a stress test on Prime95, is it another option to test all RAM?
I am having the same issue for Mem86+, nothing happens. It's freezing for no reason.. even on 4.1
Ok bud. I have to call it quits for today. I'll be back on tomorrow morning sometime. Let me know how your testing goes. We need to get to the bottom of this so we can get back to the OC'ing...
NP, Updates: 1- Memtest86: Went into base clock, putted in the first slot each one by one each of my GSkills memory. Everytime it froze on the screen I showed you before. 2- Memtest86: Same as #1 + Tried going into my latest stable OC, can't boot into windows.... :/ 3- Went into base clock, tried going into windows and worked. I currently doing linx for 1 full time (15 minues so far), using Problem Size of 37551 and Memory of 10787 by selecting All, no BSOD was found (remember, I tested on base clock.).
LOL...I didn't see this next page until I posted again. So bottom line at this point is: You can't run memtest with all sticks or even any one by themselves? You can't even boot with your last tested good OC with a 186 Bclk? But with either Prime or LinX at stock clocks, all is good? If you did pass your LinX run successfully, why don't you try using the "Dummy OC" setting in the BIOS just to see what happens running either Prime or LinX. Also, do you know for a fact what your ram voltage and timings are? That what's printed on each stick is what you have set in your BIOS.

I went into base clock and were able to boot into windows, run Linx 1 full time (18 minutes) and Prime95 for an hour. I was able to run a full Memtest86 v2.11 (because as I said before, I can't use v4+ for some reasons since it freezes.) You can't even boot with your last tested good OC with a 186 Bclk? I tried before going again into base clock, couldn't even see the windows boot logo as it crashed and instantly reboots. But with either Prime or LinX at stock clocks, all is good? Perfect. Linx worked like mentionned and Prime95 had good temps. If you did pass your LinX run successfully, why don't you try using the "Dummy OC" setting in the BIOS just to see what happens running either Prime or LinX. That's what I'd like to do next. I'm at work but I can't wait to get back home :/ Also, do you know for a fact what your ram voltage and timings are? That what's printed on each stick is what you have set in your BIOS. I loaded defaults, so they were setted to auto for all the test. I remember that it is 9 9 9 24 and v1.5 for settings, timings.. I don't know.. Bottom line: I'll try Dummy OC at home, I'll give you insight of what I get as results. I waited all the 3 Passes of Memtest86, so I can say the results are 100% accurate.

Hey bud, here's the memtest I use when the need arises. I believe it to be accurate and I also like that it tests the ram while in Windows. It works for 32bit & 64bit systems. The only thing I don't know is if it works on Win8, but you could try it if you like. http://hcidesign.com/memtest

Hi, I tested 3-4 times 2048 RAM, and Prime95'ed and Linx'ed for an hour each (which I think makes the Dummy OC pretty stable). What do you think?

I'd say so then. What was the CPU clock speed with the Dummy OC? Curious to know.

Ok. Here's what I'd like you try when you get home or have the chance: On the Memory Feature page, make sure the mem control setting is on standard and the frequency is 2:8. On the main frequency/voltage menu, make sure to disable dummy OC. Set your CPU clock ratio (multi) to 20 and your host freq. (bclk) to 181. Make sure the CPU uncore freq is at (x16). On the voltage control page, set vdroop to disabled. Set CPU vcore to 1.375v. CPU vtt to +200mv. QPI PLL to 1.35v. Dimm voltage to 1.50v. All others to "Auto" Then run 10 runs of LinX with a problem size of 30,000. If you can, get a screen shot of the LinX report screen if it passes and post it here. EDIT: Also, if it passes LinX, then increase the Bclk ONLY, to 186 and run the same test again. Leave everything else as is. Get another screen shot if it passes.

Hi, Dummy OC Settings: CPU Clock : 20X CPU Host Frequency: 160 Target CPU Frequency 3367 (160 x 21) Target Memory Frequency (1280 MHz) I really was mad today, my friend has the Ivy Bridge 3770K with Asrock MOBO, he can "Dummy OC" up to 4.8 GHZ without any modifications. I tried the 4.0 and got decent temps, arround 55-60 in average, then tried 4.2 and since he has a H60 (and not a 100i like I have), his temps were around 75-77.. so he didn't want to go further. ANYWAY, should I put my RAM specs ? (9-9-9-24) ? (Started the test 13 minutes ago) I'll take a look at the edit once I did 10 times LinX!

I see the elapsed time there, but the graph not filling in. 10 runs at that speed should take maybe 4 - 5 min per run and look similar to this pic of 1 of my LinX runs.

Shut it down and close the program. The time you said you ran LinX successfully, did it look like the pic I posted above for LinX? If so, re-start LinX and run again. If you don't see the 1st line of the graph fill in after 9 minutes, close it down, somethings wrong.

Ok. Make the changes I noted in parenthesis above to the right of your current settings. Then re-run the test for 5 runs, but set the "Stress Level" to at least Very high, or Maximum to really know you're CPU & Ram combined are very stable. Once we reach your goal OC, then you should do a 10 run test to verify you're good to go. EDIT: I missed the Vdroop setting. You show it's enabled. Disable that as well.

BSOD on boot, Windows 8 says "The BIOS isn't compatible with ACPI, Error Code 0xc0000225" for some reasons... Any ideas ? I tried switching to S3 for ACPI but I still have the same issue. EDIT: Sorry it seems I disabled it for no reasons. :)
