Hi guys,
I recently purchased an x5650 to upgrade from my i7 920 but unfortunately I have the revision 1 board. I bought old stock from frys back then :(. I was wondering if anyone still had pictures on how to do the mod. The ones on kingpin are taken off and I can't seem to find them anywhere else. I read many threads and googled a lot but to no avail. If anyone has them it would be amazing if they could post it. I really want my pc up and running again before Christmas if possible. Just curious but does evga do the same mod as mentioned when we rma the board for westmere support ? Thanks and happy holidays.

It seems that in some regions the EVGA office will perform the mod, and in others they will not.

Anyways, while ago I did see a link with working pictures, so I bookmarked it and saved the pictures to my pc because of how hard this is to find now. Enjoy, link below is to overclock.net, they still have them posted.

Thanks Dave. I tried doing it earlier today and chickened out. I think I am just going to send it to evga.
