Hey everyone!

In the past few months I decided to completely overhaul my X58 rig.

I went with a Founder's Edition 1080 (upgraded from GTX 770 Classified's SLI) and installed a Hybrid cooler on it. Temps never exceed 45c. Typically hover around 40-42c. I swapped out the stock fan for a Vardar and it has been a bit quieter. I also used the mounting hardware from an EK Supremacy MX waterblock to retrofit the EK Predator kit to LGA 1366. EK told me it wasn't possible...but it is. I upgraded from a Megahalem and temps went from around 82c on Intel XTU to around 68c. This cooler has really impressed me as the fans never really kick in unless I run a stress test. The cooler is super quiet while gaming.

I also decided to move away from my old Lancool PC-K62 case and picked up an Anidees Ai Crystal. I fell in love with the clean tempered glass look. It's pretty difficult to take photos of and looks even better in person.

For photos and more details click my ModRigs page to the left. If you like the system feel free to give me a +1.

Let me know what you guys think and if you have any suggestions or improvements. :)

Thanks guys! Next upgrade will probably be bigger SSD's. Games are just SO huge nowadays. I just beat Doom the other day so I could uninstall and get my 90gb back lol
