Here's some cool info for anyone out there still running those hearty x58 systems. No info on an SLI setup at this point, but single card seems to be running stable.

Haven't done any overclocking on anything here, but there may be an update in the future 
 
(p.s. Feel free to lol at the DIMM setup. Just wanted to prove a point that it would POST, didn't think it would be stable enough to install Win10 and run 3dMark )

    I am still running two FTW3, a Classified3, a P6T Deluxe v2 and a dual x5660. All x58 are running x5660 or w3680 Xeons.
    These systems are standing the test of time fore sure. GTX980Ti or GTX970 and they play any game I throw at them
    They still crunch BOINC WCG just fine. Just too bad they do not have AVX instruction set.

    The old X58 systems were really excellent chipsets from Intel.

    Hell yeah! I'm still on X58 with a 1080 too. I just can't justify upgrading yet it still runs great with SSD's in RAID 0 to make up for missing SATA 3. 550mbps read/write
