First of all, this is the first computer I've build and so far I love it and EVGA products... however I noticed my ram speeds are currently set at 11-11-11-28 @1600, but should be 9-9-9-24 @1600... I'm not looking to overclock anything, I just want it to run at the correct speed, but the BIOS is a bit intimidating to me, lol.

It currently shows tCL: 11     tCD: 11     tRP: 11     tRAS: 26     tRRD: 5     tWR: 12     tRTP: 6     tWTR: 6     tRFC: 128     tFAW: 24     IOLat (can't read my handwriting, might be wrong): 1     RTL: 39     CMDRate: 1

I wasn't sure if I just needed to change the first four things, or everything... the pre-made (or what ever the XMP is... or whatever it's called) settings for the ram default to 11-11-11-28, so it appears I need to do it manually.

And my full system specs are:

mobo: EVGA P67 FTW (KR model)
cpu: i-7 2600k (3.4GHz, standard clock speed)
ram: Ripjaws X 2x4GB 9-9-9-24 @1600
gpu: EVGA Superclocked GTX 570
psu: Cooler Master 1000w Silent Pro Gold
case: Cooler Master HAF 932

Thanks in advance for any and all help... I am completely uneducated and lacking experience when it comes to tweaking the BIOS, so try to keep it simple for me if you could.

Any additional input would be great as well... like suggestions for overclocking to reasonable speeds (I don't need anything too extreme.)

It currently shows tCL: 11 9     tCD: 11 9     tRP: 11 9     tRAS: 26 24     tRRD: 5     tWR: 12     tRTP: 6     tWTR: 6     tRFC: 128     tFAW: 24     IOLat (can't read my handwriting, might be wrong): 1     RTL: 39     CMDRate: 1 This will probably need to be 2 for it to boot

Manually set the settings yourself in Manual mode.
See above in red; set the other values to Auto. It should work fine that way.
Also, manually choose 1600 MHz for the frequency. Set the DIMM voltage to 1.5v too.

Thank you for the quick reply! I set everything up just like that (except it wouldn't let me change the CMDRate) and it booted right up w/o issue! The EVGA E-LEET Tuner shows it running at the correct speed.  Thank you!

Hm.. if the command rate 1T works for you then keep it 1T.

Mine won't boot at 1T.

Does CMDRate 2 change the performance at all?

1 is better than 2.
Lower timings = better performance.
