Had my Torq X10 since 2014, when they first came out. Finally got around to installing the software. Ok, cool. Prompts me for a firmware update, alright, lets do it. Software crashes. Firmware is borked, mouse is now kaput. Really? Luckily I had bought a spare X10 a few months ago and plugged it right in.

But honestly, I was not expecting that, and I'm really disappointed it happened.

Since it has a 3 year warranty, you should start an RMA.

Glad I never updated the software when I first got mine.

I fixed it. I found another thread from over a year ago, same thing happened to another user on the forums. He plugged his mouse into a Windows 7 PC, ran the software, and the firmware updated just fine. Now it works again.
