Seems like every other OS from windows is a good one, or at least better than the one before. I skipped Vista and went to 7 from XP,..skipped 8 and probably will go with 9 by the time it gets here,..
Love 7 though, it's so stable.

I loved Vista. It was great. Most stability kinks were worked out after the first service pack. XP also was terrible until like SP2.
I feel like windows 8 just came out. Im not ready for 9. Lol

Yeah this will be the one I'm looking forward to...W8 is to "Appy" and Smart Phone or Tablet like....not for me and skipping it all together.......hopefully W9 will get back to Desktop mode with improvements over W7 ;)
I had to replace my 4.5 yr old Asus G51J Notebook and simply didnt feel like having to do all the research to find W7 Drivers and buy an OEM Copy of W7 ot install on a new Windows Notebook.....really a pita that all new notebooks are W8.....so
Bought a Mac Book Pro......would rather learn the Mas OS X Maverick then waste my time with W8.....

you can use win 8 like win 7 with classic shell installed and win 8 are much better handling multicore processors than win7. For example you can gain 40% more frames per second in battlefield 4 just by using windows 8 over windows 7

i would not count chickens just yet because many sites reported early this year or a month or more before MS Build conference that MS was gonna publicly announce and show off windows 9 then and guess what it did not Happen so just cause they will introduce us a start menu in a an update does not mean it will be Windows 9 but we will have to wait and see
