    not surprised that it sold more than windows 10 considering that windows 7 didn't give as many problems, even during launch, compared to windows 10 now.

    It's also a cheap way to get to 10, I've bought many a 7 licenses from ebay or private owners to put onto systems I flip for profit with 10 installed by just using the 30-50 dollar home premium keys for 10 Home
