Windows 7 is still the king, but it no longer holds the majority. Nine months after Windows 10’s release, Windows 7 has finally fallen below 50 percent market share, and Windows XP has dropped into single digits. While this is good news for Microsoft, April was actually a poor month for Windows, which for the first time owned less than 90 percent of the market, according to the latest figures.      Link

Yes, it's FREE! FREE! so you all will get windows 10, and so we can "monitor" you better...

And the PC guys fell into that trap with the whole DX12 with its release. I'll say though I was very neutral Windows 10, but very skeptical of the release of DX12, and I was right.

I possibly had my first security breach on my Windows 10 PC. My Windows 7 PC was down with a bad PSU forcing me to use the backup. I kept disabling Remote Assistance but it kept enabling itself again. Someone either hacking into my PC and changed the contact phone number for my online banking account and tried to transfer more than $300 using Neteller. Other possibility is that someone hacked my bank's files and changed my contact info. Transaction was declined because nobody answered the phone calls to the bogus number. I didn't even have $300 in my checking account!

Considering that most of the time you don't have a choice, these figures seem right. I'm not sure if pre-bundled computers are counted but most of the systems I have seen for sale have 10 on them only offering 7 in some places. Also helps that grandmothers and ignorant BestBuyers are ignorant of Windows 10 rape strategies.

With all of the Firewall holes and data mining there's a 50/50 chance that Windows 10 is the reason my online banking was hacked. I'm glad I am back to using my Windows 7 PC.
