I've been running it for a few weeks now on Win7 x64. I haven't experienced any issues and all my games are still performing well.

I just downloaded and installed it through Windows Update and, for me, the file was 87MB...a lot less than 2GB. I would recommend that folks go through Windows Update.

So where is SP2 at?
Give me better boot times, easier/more stable overclocks, DX 12 and everything else they have at their disposal

every thing works fine as long as i dont have precision running, if i do then games crash.

Windows Update will only install the components needed to finish SP1. If you've never installed any updates at all then it will be a 2GB file.
SP2 will probably be about a year away.

The 1.9GB iso file is the complete (32/64 bit and server 2008) service pack. 7601.17514.101119-1850_Update_Sp_Wave1-GRMSP1.1_DVD.iso If you only have only 64bit PC's then you would need this file windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe if your still on 32 bit then this one windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe the msi files are debugging files that you would use in a IT type setting for trouble shooting and testing.

 there's something wrong with my system and it seems it won't download nor install the SP1. the specs are in my sig and i am using win 7 64-bit. appreciate your help guys. thanks.

This may be a good time to reformat your system, if you don't do so often. While workarounds may exist to resolve this problem, it's best to start from scratch. You may also consider slipstreaming the Service Pack into your installation disk to save you some time.

To Troubleshoot Win7 hang ups on restart...
Save to dvd to avoid future hang ups with windows update service on reinstallation of svc pk1.
