You're welcome, RubenV.  And, thanks to the Creative forums too.

Cool GTX is right, these EVGA forums are informative.  There is more than one reason to stick around:  helpful tech support, 99% troll-free, promotions, contests, game servers, etc.

Here is a little something related I found after too much time fiddling w/ sound in WINDOWS 10 *

I have a logitech 5.1 surround system that worked just fine in WIN 7   ,BUT after upgrading i noticed something was not quite right in Win 10
-sure enough 5.1 wasn't working - no matter what I did or read about it helped.
- the only / 'best' fix I found for this to get myself back to surround sound is....

1) go in to your sound settings  and change it to 7.1 speaker system, click thru to next window
2) then uncheck the 2 side speakers for the 7.1 to disable them.
3) next screen asks to make the rears as full range , yes/ apply / ok
4) I retested it and I finally get sound thru all 5.1 speakers now on WIN 10

seriously ? - yes, seriously so far this is the only way I found to get sound in win 10 thru all my speakers.

Actually, to "always" get 5.1/7.1 even if the content doesn't support it, do the following:

1) Go into the Creative Control Panel
2) See attached. Toggle slider.  Moving the slider closer to "Surround" will broadcast it through all speakers.

Note:  You can also toggle between the "X-FI CMSS-3D Surround" setting depending on preference:  Surround Stereo / Surround Xpand

Since it's not on the list in the OP, Creative won't be releasing any.  I'd look for a new sound card or use third party drivers if they support it.
